I have been "corrected" many times by those with no imagination that Selkies are in fact seals, not otters. This is my picture, and I happen to be particularly biased in the favor of otters.

This is totally awesome! I never thought of using Otters instead of seals...cool idea! I love how you drew this picture, the otter skin is SO cute, and the girl is very pretty. Great job overall!

I won't point out the whole otter/seal thing.

Instead I'll point out how I really like her expression, the detail of the hair and otter-skin and how well drawn the otter-skin is. It's lovely, but somehow the picture makes me a little sad.
